Reimagining how customers connect with your brand.
A strategy-led brand design studio.

Chidera M. Okeke, Founder & Brand Strategist, came to branding through architecture. Fifth Lily Studio was founded to give ambitious hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle and beauty brands a clearer way to show up.
Before Fifth Lily, there was a child who built cities.
Chidera grew up making things — art, craft, structures, one block on top of another. The love of building led her to architecture, and architecture gave her its discipline: nothing stands without structure.
But the habit that became Fifth Lily started earlier. Her imagination was always constructing something — houses, shops, whole cities, entire businesses. Some she ran brilliantly; some she ran into the ground on purpose, just to see what would break. She invented brands so she could design everything they would need, then lived inside them — as the owner making the decisions, and as the customer walking in the door.
That double view is the studio's real method: every brand Fifth Lily builds is designed from both sides of the counter — the owner's ambition, and the customer's experience.
That thinking carries through everything Fifth Lily creates, from positioning and identity systems to the way a brand is translated across web, packaging, and other key touchpoints. Chidera believes branding is not decoration. It is the disciplined process of understanding who a brand is, who it serves, and how it should be expressed so it can last beyond a season of trends.

Every brand I build starts here. Papers, markers, and a lot of wrong answers. I'm Chidera Okeke, brand strategist and founder of Fifth Lily Studio in Abuja. I trained as an architect, and that is still how I think: strategy first, decoration last. I build brand identities for hospitality, property development, and lifestyle — companies whose work is better than their brand, and they know it.
This is Friteur, a self-initiated concept brand. Friteur began with the story of Belgian fries. According to popular Belgian tradition, villagers in the Meuse Valley began frying potatoes in the sizes of small fish that they would catch, before their river froze over, making fishing difficult. Now, the story is debated, but this reveals something very important about the Belgian fry culture. The food is connected to the tradition, the craft, and the community — and that became the strategic foundation behind this concept brand.
Instead of designing Friteur as just another fry truck, I positioned it around cultural authenticity. The packaging, the lion seal, the typography, and the street-food applications were all designed to make the story part of the experience. The goal was to move Friteur out of the generic fast-food category and into the space of cultural food experiences — because anyone can sell fries, but Friteur was designed to make Belgian fry culture visible, memorable, and worth experiencing.
And these are the directions that didn't make it. There's always more of these than the other kind. Every project gets this: the strategy, the sketches, the full system drawn and decided by hand — and you see every step.
If your company deserves a better brand, everything is at fifthlilystudio.com — the projects, the process, and a link to book a call with me. I'd love to see what you're building.
Fifth Lily is a strategy-led brand design studio for hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle and beauty brands — helping founders build identities that feel elevated, intentional, and built to last. We work with founders who want more than attractive visuals; they want a brand presence that reflects the quality, clarity, and ambition behind their business.
Our process begins with understanding the vision, audience, and position your brand needs to hold, then shaping that into a clear creative direction. From brand strategy and visual identity to websites, packaging, collateral, social media assets, and merch, we design cohesive systems that carry your brand across every touchpoint with consistency and confidence.
We believe strong brands are never accidental. They are built through thoughtful strategy, refined design, and a clear sense of purpose, so every detail works together to create a brand that feels memorable, credible, and ready for growth.
Fifth Lily works from Abuja, Nigeria, with clients internationally — our working day fully overlaps with the UK and Europe.
A strategic path from vision to identity.
01 Discovery
Every strong brand begins with a vision, but vision alone is not enough. What turns an idea into a brand people recognize, trust, and remember is the structure behind it: the strategy, the visual decisions, and the consistency across every touchpoint. That is the path we guide our clients through.
We begin by understanding the brand at its core. That means clarifying what the business stands for, who it is speaking to, what makes it different, and what kind of presence it needs to create in the market. This first step gives direction to everything that follows, so the design is not based on guesswork, trends, or surface-level preference.
02 Strategy
From there, we move into strategy. We shape positioning, personality, and visual direction into a framework that can support the full identity. This is where the brand starts to take form in a way that feels intentional, not rushed; distinctive, not generic; and aligned with the level of business it is meant to represent.
03 Design
Once the strategy is clear, we explore creative directions. This stage is where concepts, typography, color, mood, and composition begin to work together. We test ideas, refine the strongest direction, and build out the visual language that will define the brand across its main touchpoints.
After that, we develop the full identity system. This is where the brand becomes usable and cohesive, with the core elements locked in and extended into the practical pieces a business needs to show up consistently. Depending on the project, that can include brand identity, website design and building, packaging, collateral, social media assets, and merch or product applications.
04 Delivery
The final step is turning the identity into something ready to live in the real world. We bring everything together into a system that can be applied across digital and physical spaces with clarity and confidence. The result is not just a logo or a set of visuals, but a brand that feels unified, elevated, and prepared for growth.
